TECHNICAL COLLEGES AT PLAY WELLINGTON AND WANGANUI. When stumps were drawn in the first day’s play in the match between the first elevens of the Wanganui Technical College and Wellington Technical College, played on Cook’s Gardens yesterday, tne visitors required 118 runs to win. Wanganui batted first and compiled 95, to which the Wellington side replied with 87. In their second innings Wanganui made 109, the top scorers being W. Nabi Jan 28, and J. Stewart 24.
