LONDON REDUCTIONS

NEWSPRINT CONSUMPTION. (Reed, 9.15 p.m.) London, March 11. As a result of the agreed reduction of 10 per cent, in the consumption of newsprint, The Times and the Daily Telegraph, which are the only London newspapers publishing more than four pages, are both reducing their size one day weekly and are also curtailing sales. The Daily Telegraph, in addition, is using lightweight paper. Other newspapers are forcing a reduction in circulations.
