NEWS FROM BULLS.

EMERGENCY HOSPITAL. At the invitation of the Bulls combined committee of St. John and Rea Cross, a party of Marton registered nurses went on Wednesday to see the rangements in Bulls. Two of these nurses are detailed for the emergency hospital at the racecourse, Bulls, in the event of need. The party found that the combined committee had done excellent work and was well forward in all its arrangements. Ample supplies of all requirements are on hand at Clifton Hall, which is to serve as the emergency clearing station, and beds are in readiness to be put up as required. Cases will be sent here from the first aid posts and those needing hospital care will be drafted on to the racecourse emergency hospital. This also is well equipped, the Water supply is adequate and the beds are ready. Registered nurses, married and living at Bulls, will give part-time help. Aj private house is being lent as an emergency maternity hospital. The visitors were entertained at tea - - ton. EMERGENCY EVENING. Last Monday, the Bulls Nursing Division of the St. John Ambulance held an ••emergency’ evening, which proved both enjoyable and profitable. Messrs. E. Lane and R. York, boti ambulance members, ably took charge of the transport section. After the multifarious injuries of the nursincadets had been attended to by the nurses, they were inspected an. passed by Mrs. Hendry, first officer.! and Miss Ralfe. lady superintendent.
