HANDLING OF STOCK
PROPOSALS TO SAVE PETROL. Wellington, Dec. 19. The Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Barclay, is preparing details of an important statement setting out a readjustment of methods of buying, drafting and transporting stock from the producer to the freezing works. The main object is to conserve petrol to the maximum extent. There wnl also he further proposals of a similar nature covering the dairying industry.
