Japan’s Two-Man Submarine
ONE CAPTURED BY U.S. <Re '■ 645 n.m.i Washington. Dec. 16 The Navy disclosed that a Japanese two-man submarine was rapture! in Hawaii. Apparently it bad travelled 100 miles. Its length is 41 feet and beam five feet. The conning tower is 41 feet above the deck. Its to;> speed is 21 knots and It carries two Ik-inch torpedoes. These midget submarines could lie carried on the deck of a mothership and could la* launched by crane.
