NAVAL RECRUITING
DEFENCE MINISTER’S STATEMENT ! The Minister of Defence, Hon. F. Jones stated recently that more men were required for entry under Scheme B for the Navy. Under this scheme successful candidates are entered as ordinary seamen (hostilities only), and if found suitable after a period of training are granted temporary commissions in the Royal New Zealand Navy.
