RHINELAND AGAIN
R.A.F. BOMBER TARGET (Recd. 11.45 p.m.) Rugby, Sept. 18. It is officially stated that Bomber Command aircraft attacked targets in the Rhineland again last night. An Air Ministry and Home Security communique says that there was slight enemy activity over this country during the night. Bombs were dropped in places on the south-east coast, causing a small number of casualties. Some damage was done. A few bombs were dropped in East Anglia, but there were no casualties. — 8.0.W.
