MOBILE CANTEENS FOR MIDDLE EAST

I NEW ZEALAND GIFTS (Press Assn.) Wellington, Aug. 13. Three of the live gift mobile canteens for the New Zealand Forces in the Middle East which have been under construction at Petone are ready and Mr. G. A. Hayden, secretary of lhe National Patriotic Fund Board staled 10-day ’that lhe other Lao will he finished early next week. Two have been given by lhe staffs of Woolxvorths (New Zealand) Ltd., one each by a branch of the Masonic Order, native school children and the New Zealand Shop Assistants’ Federation, representing shop assistants throughout the Dominion.
