TEAMSTER’S DEATH

FOUND BEHIND STABLE AT BUSHY PARK SHOTGUN NEAR BODY When Mr. Maurice Greenway, teamster, aged 58, did not come in for breakfast at Bushy Park station Kai Iwi, yesterday morning, a search was made and his body was found behind a stable. A shotgun was lying nearby. He was a single man and had been employed by Mr. G. F. Moore at Bushy Park for a number of years. Mr. Greenway had a gunshot wound in his head and death is believed io have occurred during the night, or the previous evening. The police were notified and the body was brought to Wanganui. An inquest was opened before the coroner, Mr. S. M. Dixon, and after evidence of identification had been given was adjourned sine die.
