DIVORCE ACTION IN NAPIER

REFERRED BACK TO WANGANUI Hastings, Aug. ’. An order changing the venue of tl; divorce action mentioned in th; Supreme Court, Napier, on Thursday, to Wanganui, was made by Mr. Justive Northcroft after hearing counsel in chambers. When the case was brought forward His Honour questioned the reason for bringing the action to Napier, in view of tire fact that the parties were Wanganui residents. It was pointed out by counsel for the husband, Mr. A. D. Brodie, that liis client had desired the matter to be heard in Napier to avoid it being talked of in front of their children. His Honour stated that the case should receive normal publicity and altered the venue as stated. The parties are Philip Latham Wickham and Vivien Elizabeth Wickham, and divorce is sought by the former on the ground of separation.
