FARMERS PAY TRIBUTE “Mrs. Polson took a very great interest in the Farmers’ Union.” said the president, Mr. T. Currie (Brunswick), when paying a tribute, at the annual meeting of the Wanganui provincial district of the New' Zealand Farmers’ Union yesterday, to the work of Mrs. W. J. Polson, who died recently. Mr. Currie added that Mrs. Polson mas mainly responsible for the foundation of the Women's Division of the Farmers’ Union, which had proved such a great success. The meeting stood in silence while a motion of sympathy with the relatives was carried.
