REP. RUGBY MATCH ON KING’S BIRTHDAY
TARANAKI v. WANGANUI BIG AFTERNOON GAME ON SPRIGGEN'S PARK. Arrangements for the Rugby representative match between Wanganui and Taranaki were discussed at last night's meeting of the Management Committee of the .Wanganui Rugby Union. The big match will be played on the afternoon of Monday, June 2, (King's Birthday), at 3 o'clock, on Spriggens Park and will be preceded by a curtain-raiser. Prices for admission are: Gents Is 6d, women Is, stand Is extra, reserved seat 6d extra. Secondary school students 6d. Primary school children (marshalled) free. The Wanganui Garrison Band will attend the match. The names of Messrs. J. Richardson and W. Molan, were forwarded from the Rugby Referees’ Association as representatives of the Referees’ Appointment Board. Those present at the meeting were Messrs. J. Moye (chairman), (y Stewart. T. Latham, H. Whiting, C. Ryan, E. O’Halloran, A. Takarangi, W. R. McElwain, J. Deerness, and Lieutenants M. M. Davidson, W. D. Leuchars.
