OPUNAKE SUCCESSES

TRAINERS AND JOCKEYS New Plymouth trainers were most successful at the Opunake meeting, leading in three winners and a deadheater, R. Barlow, New Plymouth, being the only trainer to lead in two winners. Hawera trainers led in two winners and a dead-heater and Stratford' and Waverley trainers one each. The New Plymouth apprentice, R. Shaw, was the most successful jockey, riding three winners and a second. W. Thomson rode two winners, a deadheater and a second.
