Miss B. Copley has returned to Wanganui from Wellington. * * * • Mrs. W. Meikle, Ingestre Street, has returned after a visit to Wellington. Mrs. G. Sampson, Carlton Terrace, Is visiting the New Plymouth district. Mrs. T. P. Drew is a Auckland visitor to Wanganui. Mrs. J. Cabett, Whakatane, was in Wanganui yesterday. Mrs. R. Hughes has returned to Wanganui after an extended visit to Waipukurau. # ♦ * • Miss Lois Frecklington, of Feilding, is on a visit to relatives in Taihape. * * * ♦ Mrs. Russell Scoular, Durie Hill, returns to-day from a holiday spent at Piha, Miss J. Woon, Makirikiri, is leaving for Helensville Hot Springs, where she will stay for about a month. Mrs. Izard. Wanganui, is visiting Mrs. L. R. Hamilton, at Hawera. Mrs. F. Treloar left Wanganui this week on a visit to Wellington. Mrs. McCarthy, of 63 Campbell Street, has returned to Wanganui after a holiday spent in New Plymouth and Stratford. Visiting New Zealand are Dr. and Mrs. Lopdell, of Tonga, where Dr. Lopdell has been medical officer for three years. At present they are staying in Wellington with Mrs. Lopdell’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Veitch, formerly of Wanganui.
