THEIR OBLIGATIONS DECIDED RULINGS BY WANGANUI EDUCATION BOARD Two enquiries from teachers were received at the monthly meeting of the Wanganui Education Board yesterday asking if they would be permitted to leave their school district on Home Guard duty, if called at a moment’s notice. The chairman. Mr. E. F. Hemingway, said that if a proclamation was issued they would have to go immediately. The board ruled that teachers would not be allowed leave to enter camps for training for Home Guard purposes.
