LICENCES REVOKED
AUSTRALIAN RADIO STATIONS FOLK DEFINITELY OFF THE AIR Received Feb. 9, 6.30 p.m. MELBOURNE, »Feb. 8. Licences for four radio stations recently put off the air by the Com monwealth Government, have been finally revoked by the Postmaster General, Senator G. McLeay. The stations are 2HD, Newcastle, 4AT, Atherton, Queensland; SKA, Adelaide; 5 AU, Port Augusta. Mr. McLeay revoked the licences by the powers he holds under the National Security regulations.
