PLANES FROM NEW PLYMOUTH

BUSY TIME AT WANGANUI AIRPORT VALUABLE FLYING EXPERIENCE For the purpose of enabling Wanganui men who are to be called shortly for the Royal New Zealand Ajr Force to obtain flying experience, four planes from the New Plymouth Airport visited the Wanganui Airport at the week-end. The planes and their pilots were:— "Rearwin," piloted by Mr. K. Mehrtens, “Portfields,” Mr. Gordon Parker, “Taylor Cub,” Mr. L Martin, “Rearwin,” Mr. H. T. Morton. The planes were kept busy on both Saturday and Sunday and much valuable flying experience was gained. Mr. H. W. Lightband, club captain of the New Plymouth Aero Club, was with the New Plymouth visitors.
