A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised on January 8 between Catherine Nancy, younger daughter of Mrs. R. J. Sanderson and the late Mr. R. J. Sanderson. Wanganui, and Norman Vollance, son of Mr. and Mrs. Powell, Wellington. The bride, who was escorted by her brother, Mr. Allan Sanderson, wore a frock of pale blue, with pink and silver halo and bouquet of carnations, sweet peas and maidenhair fern. The Rev. J. F. Martin, Aramoho. was the officiating minister. Attending the bride as bridesmaid was Miss Eileen Sanderson, and the bridegroom was attended by Mr. William Frond, of Wellington, as best man. Mr. and Mrs. Powell’s future home will be in Wellington.
