H. Stewart, when drawing attention to the following utterance by the president of the Auckland Rotary Club, Mr. F. Winstone: “Rotary calls for service. Few of our members will be called on to serve overseas, but there are many avenues of service at our doors, and it. i behoves us all to answer the call to duty in whatever form it may come.” Mr. Stewart said there was no question but that members owed a debt to Rotary. Through Rotary they received an opportunity to serve which, as ordinary citizens, would probably not come their way.
