Coleman stated that the council had been approached by several residents on Wing’s Line to im-

prove this road in front of their cottages. He suggested getting into touch with the Railway Department in an endeavour to get this road sealed, also that something be done to tarseal the whole of Wing’s Line from Golding’s Line to Cliff Road Junction. The Marton Jockey Club now held four days’ racing, he said, and it was almost impossible to travel along this road on race days on account of the clouds of dust.
