ASSISTANT MEDICAL SUPERINTENDENT
AUCKLAND HOSPITAL APPOINTMENT l Per Press Association. 1 AUCKLAND, Feb. 6. The appointment of Dr. C. B. Gilbert!, of Hamilton, to the post of assistant medical superintendent at the Auckland Hospital, was made by the Auckland Hospital Board at a special meeting. The new assistant superintendent, who is 39 years of age, has had broad experience, both on the practical vnd the administrative side of medicine, since his graduation in 1925. At the present time he is medical officer of health for South Auckland, with headquarters at Hamilton. Dr. Gilberd was born at Wanganui, and took his degrees of M. 8., Ch.B., at the Otago University.
