MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING

ACTIVITIES CURTAILED SHORTAGE OF AMMUNITION As there has been a severe shortage of ammunition this season, the Wanganui District Miniature Rifle Association has had to curtail activities. The only inter-club match that could be tired was the Vesta Battery Cup, which was fired on Saturday evening last. Last year eight clubs fired for this cup, but this year only six clubs competed. The shooting was of a very hign standard and a verypleasant evening was spent by all. The ladies of the different clubs dispensed an enjoyable supper.
