DELIGHTFUL RECITAL
Every available seat in the Old Museum Hall was taken last night lor the recital given by Miss Thelma Cornish (pianiste), Miss Laurel Ramsay (violiniste) and Mr. Alan Brown (baritone) in aid of patriotic funds. The platform was tastefully arranged with bowls of jonquils and spring flowers, and a gold standard lamp looked effective near the grand piano. Miss Cornish wore a frock of black taffeta with a trail of white flowers on the V neckline at the back to match the blossoms in her hair. Miss Ramsay wore a pretty frock of cream embossed silk. Several beautiful bouquets and boxes of flowers were presented to Miss Ramsay and Miss Cornish, who. with Mr. Alan Brown, well earned the hearty and spontaneous applause with which their delightful items were rewarded and they had to respond to encores.
