Visitors From Napier Teams from the Napier Intermediate School arrived in Wanganui yesterday to play matches against the pupils of the Wanganui Intermediate School. This morning the visitors will be welcomed by the Mayor, Hon. W. J. Rogers, the secretary of the Wanganui Education Board (Mr. G. N. Boulton), and Mr. Fossette (headmaster of the Wanganui Intermediate School). Kennel Club Successes Members of the Wanganui Kennel Club secured several successes at the Wellington Show. Included were the following: Miss Glorie Watson's Pomeranian Lockwood Moonstone, three firsts, special and challenge; Mrs. H. Watson’s Scottish terrier Guyton Creation, two firsts; Mrs. G. W. Collins’ Pomeranian Broadway Radio Sunbeam, second in open; Mrs. L. Easton’s Labrador Chow Bruce of Glenlossie, two seconds; Mrs. A. B. Jones’ smooth fox terrier Riversdale Rialto, second in open; Mr. Stanley Kllson’s Irish terrier Donegal Casey, first in open, challenge and special; Master J. J. Butters’ bulldog Manawaroa Merrymaker, first puppy and second in puppy stakes; Mr. and Mrs. N. W. Bond’s Cocker Spaniels BonOstal Equisite Model, two firsts, special and one second, and Bon-Ostal Bon Ami, two first and challenge, two specials.
