ASSOCIATION A meeting of the ncwiy-electe i committee ol the Rangitikei A. and P. Association was held on Saturday afternoon at the conclusion of the an* nual meeting. The president, Mr. W. N. Anderson, occupied the chair. The following finance committee was elected: —Messrs. W. N. Anderson, V. Nicholls, G. Brown, A. Addis. H. Hintz, and the senior committee-j man. The following district repre- j sentatives were appointed:—Messrs. J. Goodwin (Ohingaiti), T. W. Pairman (Mangaweka), D. Reid (Feilding), G. L. Marshall (Marton) and Mrs. Strange (Raetihi). The secretary reported that th--’ proposed date of the annual show February 21, clashed with the Masterton snow, and it wag decided to write to the Taranaki Association inquiring if that association had any objection to the Taihape show bc.ng held on February 28, wnich is also the date of the Taranaki show. BUDGETARY SYSTEM Mr. W. Berridge was thanked at th; annual meeting of the Taihape Bov;!' ing Club for introducing the budgetarysystem of keeping accounts. By this system ot working to estimates it L possible to ascertain the tinanclM position at a glance and to avoid any unnecessary expenditure Estimates of expenses are classified under their various headings and any club or organisation employing this system has found it to be of great benefit. Both the Taihape Bowling Club and the Taihape School Committee use the system.
