AIR-TRAINING SCHEME
EXPANSION IN NEW ZEALAND The efficient and rapid expansion of New Zealand’s air-training scheme is demonstrated by the increasing numbers of men who can be handled at the various training stations as the facilities are augmented. The latest batch oi recruits to be posted totals 87 men, and these include only wireless operators and mechanics and armourers. Although the total volume of young { men offering their services to the Air Force is very large, necessitating the holding back of the training of some until late in the year, it will no doubt be encouraging to these men to know that such good progress generally is being made.
