CRASHED IN FLAMES

BRITISH PLANE SHOT DOWN AMSTERDAM, March 22. A British fighting plane was shot down in flames during a combat with two Germans at a great height over the German-Dutch frontier and crashed at Oudewater. The two occupants were killed. The bodies have not yet been recovered.
