EASTER ENGAGEMENTS RIDERS FOR FEILDING PALMERSTON N„ March 20. ■When the weights for the Feilding Cup were announced, Old Bill had pride of place with 9.11 and Luke Wilson stated yesterday that Old Bill would not be an acceptor. He added that although Old Bill had been entered for the Awapuni Gold Cup there was a chance that his race in the Autumn Handicap at Trentham would be his last for the season. Beaupartir, Lambourn, who looks a better colt than he did before Wellington, Dragon and Miilament are to do their Easter racing at Ellerslie and they went north last night. B. H. Morris is to ride all but Oragon. Another Ellerslie mount for him is Beau Vite. Old Surrey, Brazil, Sceptre and Little Dorrit will race at Feiiding, and Raeburn and Cherry Bay are to leave for Riccarton to-day. Flammarion and Chary are to race at Riccarton. Flammarion will be ridden by H Stewart and Chary by W. J. Broughton. Riding Engagements Broughton will be at Feilding on Saturday and his engagements are for Black Robe, Scandal, Russian Ballx. Red Cat, and Batsham. At Riccarton he will ride Indian Sun, Areas, Duncannon, Chary and Trench Law. Stewart will be at Tauherenikau On Saturday and he will ride Trebor, Alunga, Piastre and Kadina. S. Waddell and C. B. Goulsbro will be at Feilding and Goulsbro will ride at Waipukurau on Monday. G. R. Tattersaii will sport silk at Feilding and he will ride Goldburn in the maiden event. Additional riding engagements for Feilding are; — S. Anderson: Last Acre, Sceptre. D. Redstone: Kotua. P. Jarvis: Hunting Lore. W. Jenkins: Pitmark, Gold Chase. D. B. McGregor: Sweet Anne, Kincora (second day). C. B. Goulsbro: Selkirk (apprentices’ race). S. Waddell: Bonnie Eunsby. R. Ireland: Brazil, Little Dorrit, Resingoid. Ecstatic wiil not be racing at Easter. She hurt herself in the paddock and is lame as a result. Riotous, Forest Glow and Race Boy are to race at Ellerslie and they did not return to Awapuni from the Waikato. J. Chaplin will ride them in their Auckland engagements. )
