OHINGAITI BRANCH A special meeting of the Ohingaiti branch of the Red ross Society was' held in the Memorial Hall on Tuesday : evening last to discuss ways and j means of raising funds to further the work of the branch Mr. L. E. Wilsor. presided over a good attendance ol members. Following discussion it was decided that a "Paddy’s Market" be organised and to be held on March 2, 1&40. Stewards for the various stalls, etc. were elected, these being as fellows: — j Produce stall, Mrs. C. Henderson and ' Mrs. L. Dalziell; jumble stall, Mrs. S. i Lowry and Mrs. C. Bartlett; sweet | stall, Miss E. Mercer; afternoon tea, i Mesdames J. Stewart, P. Brooks, L. E. i Weston and V. Hanson. Donations to assist this worthy cause ! will be greatly appreciated.
