CRITICALLY ILL INJURED BY A FALL (Daventry Broadcast) LONDON, Jan. 19. Senator William Borah is lying critically ill at his home in Washington. He is suffering from cerebral haemorrhage as the result of a fall. It is reported that his condition has taken a turn for the worse. HOPE ABANDONED Received Jan. 19. 10.20 p.m. WASHINGTON. Jan. 18. Mrs. Borah stated that, the physicians had abandoned hope and death could be expected any day or moment.
