VISIT TO FRANCE
MR. CILAMBERLAIN IMPRESSED Received Dec. 20, 9.30 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 19. Mr. Chamberlain returned after an active day on the snow-bound western front. In a broadcast, he testified to the enjoyment of the visit to France and the deep impression created by the troops and air components. He expressed amazement at the proficiency so soon attained and was delighted with the excellent relations between the British troops and 1 French civilians. Mr. Chamberlain wished all ranks 1 a happy Christmas and best luck lor j the New Year.
