GERMANS SEEK FOR PRISONERS
| PATROL ACTIVITY ON WESTERN FRONT NAZI RAIDS REPULSED (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Dec. 7. The French official communique states that during the night there was marked activity by patrols on each side, with consequent artillery reaction. The Paris radio, amplifying the communique, says the enemy attacks were more violent overnight and thc\ were obviously seeking prisoners, but were unsuccessful. A Nazi raid wa: repulsed west of the Vosges. The Ger mans are continually using minnenwerfers on the Wissembourg sector where the French beat back a new attack. There is no change generally on the whole front.
