AKAMOHO BRANCH The annual meeting of the Aramoho branch of the Christian Temperance Union was held in St. David’s Church. The attendance was small on account of sickness among members. '■ Correspondence and business was I dealt with and the election of officers [resulted in nearly all being re-elected, 'two or three offices being held over till next meeting. The reports of the secretary and treasurer and other departments showed steady work done. Allocation of funds was completed and the year’s work finished. The next meeting is to be held at Mrs. Hallam’s residence on January 27, 1940. Afternoon tea was served by Mrs. Hallam.
