ARAMOHO BOAUNG CLUB THE DALZELL FOURS FIRST ROUND RESULTS Two races for the trophy generously donated by Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Dalzell were decided last evening by the Aramoho Boating Club, ideal conditions being experienced. Following are the results; — W. Firmin (str.), D. Coughlin (3), A. McNicol (2), G. Toop (bow) defeated C. McNicol (str.), C. Aitken, E. Noble, J. Coughlin. Firmin gained the advantage from the start and went on to win comfortably by two lengths. I. Pepper (str.), W. Dearsiey, E. Gregg, C. Benefield, defeated C. Campbell (str.), V. Benefield, A. G. Clark, L. Newman. Pepper gained an advantage at the start which he held to the school, where Campbell gradually improved his position to have a slight advantage at the Cliffs. Here Pepper called on his men and, rowing strongly, soon regained the lead, and in an exciting finish gained the judge's decision by three-quarters of a length. The draw for this evening is: Stowers rows Jeromson; Brown rows Stokes. All members are again reminded of the necessity of being at the clubhouse at 6 p.m.
