PRICE OF PETROL
INCREASE IN AUSTRALIA Received Oc'. 31, 7.10 p.m. SYDNEY. O'*. 31. The Minister of Trade and Customs (Mr. J. ?I. Lawson) announced that authority has been given for an increase of Id a gallon in the price of petrol from to-day. The ne v prices will be Is lid for standard grade and 2s for super grade. This is the third penny increase in the retail price of petrol this year.
