BRUTALLY MURDERED
NIUE ISLAND NATIVE POLICE MAKE ARREST Received Oct. 31, 9.30 p.m. APIA, Oct. 30. Police inquiries into the death of a native of Niue Island have resulted in the arrest of a Samoan named Tuiva, who will bn arraigned to-day on a charge of murder. The body of a native named Foupa, aged 55, was found brutally murdered on Saturday, October 21, where he had been working in a taro patch on the Siumu road, beyond Vailima. When Foupa failed to return home next. , morning relatives made a search and | the body was found vith a dc? > knife j wound almost severing the head from I the body.
