GARRISON BAND TEST O. MILLIAMS THE CHAMPION In announcing the results of lhe annual solo competition of the Wanganui Garrison Band, the adjudicator, Mr. W. Hickman, commended the competitors for remarkably fine playing. The championship was won by Mr. O. Williams and the handicap by Mr. H. Unwin. Mrs. S. L. Kendall, who played the accompaniments, presented the medals. Results with handicaps, judge's points and total for each player were as follows: — H. Unwin (BB flat bass), 4, 93. 97; O.
