He added: “Rumours of war come every now and then, but I must say I am astounded to note how' susceptible to the jitters arc many businessmen. Things may be somewhat grim in Europe, but there are many more millions on the side of peace than on the side of war, and there are still many factors which point in the (direction of peace.”
