DISCOIEKY ON MALNGANTI VESSEL NOW ON SLIP. [Per Press •AssncintlonJ WELLINGTON, June 18. Workers on the Maunganui, which is at. present undergoing overhaul at the Wellington Patent Slip Company’s wharf at Evans Bay, found the night watchman lying dead on the main deck. He was Edward Francis Glavin, single, aged 32, living in Holloway road. The discovery was made at 5.30 p.m. last, night. The ship had been fumigated with hydrogen cyanide in the afternoon to destroy rats and other vermin. Glavin was last seen by the men vho were doing this work about three o'clock or halfpast three.
