ROAD SAFETY COUNCIL DISCUSSION [ Per Press Association.! WELLINGTON, May 15. Proposed legislation about the taking of liquor by drivers of motor vehicles, was discussed to-day by eleven of the sub-committee of 14 members of the Road Safety Council. The Commissioner of Transport, Mr. G. L. Laurenson, presided. Resolutions were carried which also dealt with penalties, tests for Intoxication, and a number of other matters'relating to liquor and driving. They are first to be submitted to the three members of the council who reside away from Wellington.
