On account of the prevalence of influenza, the vacation course of the Education Department's correspondence school, which has been m progress at the New Plymouth Boys' High School for a week, lias been closed. Some pupils left for their homes today, and those who are indisposed will be sent home as soon as they are well enough to travel. The Boys’ High School, which was to havs re-opened for the second term on Tuesday, May 23, will not now open until the following Tuesday, to give an opportunity for fumigation before the return of the scholars.
