BRILLIANT EXHIBITION PROFESSIONAL GOLFERS AT MIDDLEMORE VON NIDA’S ROUND OF 70 [Per Pr«s. Association.] AUCKLAND, May 15. The professional golfers, van Nida (Australia) and Murray, Clements and Moss (Auckland) were responsible this afternoon for the most brilliant exhibition ever seen locally when engaged in a four-ball match at Middlemore. Von Nida and Murray won, two up and one to play. The Australian had an approximate stroke' round of 70, and Murray was 66 for 17 holes. Clements was out in 33 but spoiled an otherwise great effort with a six at the last. Moss played fine golf to the greens, although his putting was not as accurate as usual. Von Nida praised the Middlemore course, placing it first in the Dominion, followed in order by Shirley, Titirangi and Otatara.
