OTARA BASKETBALL CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. (Own Correspondent.) OHINGAITI, May 15. | The second annual meeting of the I Otara Basketball Club was held at the residence of Mrs. S. Lowry, on Friday, May 12. In the absence of Miss J. Stent the' meeting was presided over by Miss B. j Parkes. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted and the election of of-; fleers for the ensuing year resulted as. ’ follows: President, Mrs. E. Parkes; vice- : president, Mrs. D. Stent; club captain. Miss D. Stent; vice-captain, Miss B. Brooks; secretary and treasurer. Miss I J. Lowry. The first practice of the season will be held on the property of Mr. T. | Stewart on Wednesday next, May 17.
