CAR PLUNGES INTO STREAM
FAMILY OF FIVE SI 11 ER INJURIES CONDITION OF PARENTS SAID TO BE SERIOUS [ Per Press Association J DANNEVIRKE, April 26. A car, in which were several Palinerston North residents coming to Da»»nevirke from the east, went, inrough the rail of the approach to a small bridge about three miles from Dannevirke and finished up on its side in a stream containing less than two feet of water. The occupants were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Williams and three of their family, Mr. B. Williams, ana Misses Cynthia and Zonah Williams. The father and son are hairdressers. Mis. Williams suffered a fractured shoulder blade, abrasions and shock: Mr. Wiliiams, senr., concussion and abrasions and wounds to both hands, and shock; Miss Cynthia Williams, wounds on the left ear; Mi’s Zona.' • Williams, abrasions on the forehead, Mr. Williams, junr., minor abrasions. The condition of the parents is reported to be serious.
