SPICED MARROW Peel and cut 41b vegetable marrox in pieces 2in. square, sprinkle witi salt and leave overnight. Drain awa; moisture and put into a pan with pint of vinegar, Alb sugar and tablespoon salt. Boil i hour, cho fine a few sour cooking apples an add to marrow with 1 teaspoon eac of mustard, ginger, cloves and pepper corns well pounded. Boil another hour and set pan away til] mixtur is quite cold when all moistun is absorbed put into jars and sea Delicious with cold meats, with pork, and keeps well.
