SUCCESS OF ‘ GRUMPY’’ SECOND PERFORMANCE The Wanganui Repertory Theatre’s last major production of the 1938-39 season, "Grumpy,” was presented for the second time on Tuesday, when there was another enthusiastic capacity audience. Mr. Paul Latham, who produced the play, appears in the title role and gave another clever characterisation which made a fine impression with the audience. Others who gave praiseworthy performances in principal roles were John Fleming, George Williamson, Stella Meuli, Joyce Mancks, R. S. Allwright, Sinclair Bowden, and G. S. Sainsbury. The minor roles were capably filled by Doris Allwright, C. Stanley Brown, Norman Owen, and B. C. Carmody. “Grumpy” will be staged again tonight.
