Mrs. Amy Graham, of Waverley, left on Thursday for New Plymouth, where she will be the guest of Mrs. C. B. Webster. Mrs. A. L. Stedman, Auckland, arrived in Wanganui on Thursday and is staying with her mother, Mrs. H. A. Christie, “Awatero,” St. John’s Hill. Mrs. A. D. Jenkins, who has been visiting the South Island after staying in Wellington for a few days, returned to Wanganui last Thursday. Mr.-and Mrs. Watson, Dunedin, who were in Wellington for the conference of opticians, are visiting Wanganui as the guests of Mrs. Johnstone. Visitors to Wanganui for the Smith --Bassett wedding to-morrow include Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Wheeler, Leedstown, Marton, Mrs. G. Torstonson, Miss L. Torstonson, Misses Dalziel, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Billens, Mr. and Mrs. J. Dalziel, Mr. and Mrs. B. Torsonson, all of Palmerston North.
