ONE MAN DROWNED FAILED TO REACH SHORE [ Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, March 3. A fishing expedition off the Northcote shore had a tragic ending thif afternoon when a dinghy capsizec with three occupants, one of whonr was drowned while attempting tc reach the shore. The victim was Walter Henry Gee, aged about 65 married, of Northcote. The accident occurred while Get was pulling in the anchor, the boal capsizing. Gee struck out for the shore but collapsed in the water aftei half the distance had been covered.
