WANGANUI A. AND P. ASSOCIATION
The annual meeting of the Wanganui A. and P. Association will be held in the Wanganui Jockey Club Rooms. St. Hill Street, on Wednesday next, at 3 p.m. The auditor's report and balancesheet, which conveys pleasing evidence of the improved financial position of the association will be discussed, and the election of the general committee of 25 members, 30 nominations for which have been received, will also be an important part of the meeting. A recommendation to hold the annual meeting in March, instead of January—as provided in the rules—will also be discussed. It is a long time since such a large number of aspirants for seats on the general committee have been received, and it is gratifying to know that well known breeders, exhibitors, and public men are evincing so much interest in the progress of the association. The president, Mr. W. Craig has expressed his earnest hope that a full attendance of members would be present at the meeting.
