Particu lar interest has been occasioned du< to the friendships he formed when hi made a private visit to the Unitec States in 1936, during which he was the guest of Mr. Roosevelt. The Secretary of State, Mr. Cordel Hull, said the selection was a mattei of satisfaction and pleasure.
